Old boy, Did you get enough of pie?
Prior to 1928, Wilderness State Park was home to logging camps and saw mills. I drew my inspiration from the logging camp kitchens of yor, and the nomenclature that went with them. My project was to create delcious, locally-sourced meals for twelve campers during the week we were housed at Wilderness. Cooking with only a 2-burner Coleman stove and the cabin woodstove, I provided three hearty meals a day. Like logging camps, there was never a shortage of food.

Nick Stockton is a maker, epicurean and adventurer. His favorite pasttime is filling bellies with good food and good vibes. When he’s not cooking for friends and loved ones, he’s running Teamwork Design, a company that creates travel gear out of materials in the waste stream.
