I made these drawings while encountering new people becoming friends, in a new forest becoming a familiar place. Looking at those around me – the objects, the atmosphere, the faces; putting lines to a page and attempting to honor the curiosity of sight with sincerity. The drawings then became an action to hold on to what is fleeting.
